Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL in Chichester (West Sussex) is seeking an experienced Senior Planning Engineer to own the planning function from tender through to completion. You will lead planning activities across the business and work with the MD and senior leaders to shape project delivery for schemes valued £1m–£20m.

The role requires extensive planning experience with UK main contractors, proficiency in ASTA Powerproject, and strong communication with project teams.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience working for a UK main contractor.
• Experience delivering tender and construction programmes across £1m–£20m projects.
• Proficient in ASTA Powerproject.
• Strong communication with senior leadership and project teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning function across the business.
• Produce and manage tender and contract programmes for a wide range of construction projects.
• Develop robust project programmes using ASTA Powerproject.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular programme updates to senior management.
• Identify programme risks and opportunities, implementing mitigation strategies where required.
• Support operational teams throughout the project lifecycle with planning expertise.
• Work closely with estimating, commercial and site teams during both tender and live project stages.
• Develop and continuously improve planning procedures and best practices across the business.
• Act as the first point of contact for all planning-related matters.
