Job summary
Bennett & Game Recruitment Ltd. is recruiting an experienced Senior Planning Engineer to join its civil engineering team.
The role focuses on developing robust programmes reflecting practical delivery, supporting both tender submissions and live projects within highways, bridges, flood defence, and infrastructure schemes. You will work closely with estimators, bid managers and operations to optimise delivery methods, assess constraints and implement effective planning solutions across multiple
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Planning Engineer or Senior Planning Engineer.
- Strong understanding of civil engineering site operations and delivery processes.
- Excellent communication and ability to work with tender, commercial and operational teams.
Responsibilities
- Review tender documents and develop construction programmes reflecting practical delivery methods.
- Assess constraints and identify efficient planning solutions for projects.
- Produce detailed programmes and supporting planning information for bids and delivery.
- Monitor progress and update programmes during delivery and post-tender stages.
- Provide guidance on planning, sequencing and logistics to project teams.
