Job summary

Cherwell District Council is seeking an experienced Planning Enforcement professional to lead on its most complex enforcement investigations within the Planning Enforcement Team. You will investigate breaches, assess expediency, negotiate resolutions, and take formal enforcement action where required, managing major developments and listed buildings.

You will support the Team Leader, mentor officers and represent the Council at hearings and planning committees.

Qualifications

• Experience leading complex enforcement investigations.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage a varied caseload and mentor staff.
