Job summary

Scantec Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior Planner to join a Midlands-based project controls and planning consultancy. You will own and develop complex programmes, work closely with clients, and contribute to project performance across NEC contracts and water/infrastructure sectors.

The role involves independent client engagement, programme analysis, risk identification, and collaborative delivery on major projects in the UK.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in planning and project controls on infrastructure projects.
• Ability to work independently and directly with clients.
• Strong understanding of complex programmes and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Developing and managing complex project programmes.
• Programme analysis and reporting to stakeholders.
• Identify risks, delays and opportunities affecting schedules.
• Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders.
• Support change management and NEC contract environments.
• Perform schedule analysis and delay/claims analysis as needed.
• Communicate programme issues and recommendations to clients.
