Job summary

Bilfinger UK is seeking a Senior Planner to drive cost/expenditure transparency and project controls across multiple contracts. The role requires coordinating with commercial managers, PMs and engineers to ensure objectives are met within scope, schedule and budget.

The Senior Planner will develop and optimise project programmes, establish cost systems, and own business process updates through to project closure, including structured credit rules and naming conventions in P6.

Qualifications

• 8 years of experience in a leadership role in project controls.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business or related fields.
• PMO experience.
• Knowledge of Primavera P6.
• Experience using PowerBI and MS tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage an effective project controls strategy with procedures.
• Ensure project schedules include resource loading and critical path analysis.
• Collaborate with commercial managers, project managers, and engineers to hit scope, schedule and budget.
• Establish cost engineering systems to monitor and report costs.
• Lead project control meetings and update risk registers.
• Define project work breakdown structure and estimating format.
