Job summary

Kier Group is seeking a Senior Planner to join our Nuclear business team in Suffolk, delivering planning and project controls on a major energy project. The role combines on-site presence with hybrid working, with on-site requirement 3–4 days per week.

You will develop fully integrated master programmes under NEC, produce acceptance and lookahead programmes, dashboards and narratives, and support forecasting with labour and materials data.

Qualifications

• NEC contract-based planning experience; direct client interaction.
• Experience with reinforced concrete frame building techniques.
• Extensive planning background with strong programming techniques.
• Proficient in planning software, especially Primavera P6.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; collaborative.

Responsibilities

• Construct and manage fully integrated master programmes and phase sequence plans for the project.
• Produce programmes for acceptance, impact programmes, weekly lookaheads, dashboards, reports, and programme narratives.
• Analyse project metrics to track key dates and display in dashboards.
• Support the commercial team to forecast based on labour and materials with reference to programme.
• Update and monitor progress against contract requirements and evaluate supply chain and subcontract programmes.
