Job summary

Altrad are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Integrated Planner to join the Glasgow team, supporting programme planning and coordination across workstreams to ensure accurate, achievable plans for delivery.

You will maintain schedules, identify dependencies, produce regular progress updates, and contribute to risk and opportunity management while working with Project Managers and stakeholders in a secure environment.

Qualifications

• Primavera (P6) knowledge.
• Experience developing programmes with the Project Team.
• Experience across all project lifecycle stages.
• Monthly programme updates and reporting.
• Review supplier schedules monthly.
• Risk and opportunity management in planning.
• Experience in client environments.
• Strong communication with stakeholders.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Able to gain Security Clearance.
• Operational/secure environment experience.
• 4–5 years’ experience.
• Experience with NEC Projects scheduling.
• Experience with integrated programmes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integrated project and programme plans.
• Coordinate planning activities across multiple workstreams and stakeholders.
• Monitor programme progress against milestones, schedules and deliverables.
• Identify and manage programme dependencies, interfaces and delays.
• Work with Project Managers and Delivery Teams to keep plans accurate.
• Provide regular planning updates, reports and progress information.
• Support risk, issues and opportunities management.
• Analyse schedule performance and highlight corrective actions.
• Facilitate planning meetings, workshops and progress reviews.
• Maintain planning documentation and change capture.
• Support recovery plans when performance is off track.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of planning processes and tools.
• Ensure planning aligns with objectives, governance and priorities.

As an Infrastructure Integrated Planner, you will support programme planning and coordination, working closely with stakeholders to maintain accurate plans, identify dependencies and provide clear planning information to support successful project delivery.

• Develop and maintain integrated project and programme plans.


• Coordinate planning activities across multiple workstreams and stakeholders.


• Monitor programme progress against agreed milestones, schedules and deliverables.


• Identify and manage programme dependencies, interfaces and potential delays.


• Work closely with Project Managers, Delivery Teams and key stakeholders to ensure plans remain accurate and achievable.


• Provide regular planning updates, reports and progress information.


• Support the identification and management of programme risks, issues and opportunities.


• Analyse schedule performance and highlight areas requiring corrective action.


• Facilitate planning meetings, workshops and progress reviews.


• Maintain accurate planning documentation and ensure changes are captured appropriately.


• Support the development of recovery plans where programme performance is off track.


• Contribute to continuous improvement of planning processes, tools and reporting.


• Ensure planning activities align with programme objectives, governance requirements and delivery priorities.

Key Requirements / Qualifications:

• Primavera (P6) knowledge


• Ability to work on own initiative to develop programmes with the Project Team


• Experienced in planning across all stages of the project lifecycle.


• Experienced in monthly programme updating and reporting.


• Experienced in the monthly review and assessment of supplier schedules.


• Good understanding of risk and opportunity management with reference to planning & programming


• Experience of working in a client environment.


• Able to communicate professionally and effectively with a variety of Stakeholders.


• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office in particular; Excel, Word, and Outlook


• Able to gain Security Clearance


• Working within an operational environment


• working in a secure environment


• Ideally 4-5 years’ experience


• Experience of managing schedules on NEC Projects, preferrable.


• Experience of working on projects with integrated programmes, desirable
