Job summary

Randstad CPE in the UK is seeking a Senior Planner for a Tier 1 contractor, based in the Southern Region (Hampshire, Surrey, Berkshire). You will lead planning on major projects (£30–£120m) and shape Level 3/4 programmes using Asta Powerproject, ensuring integrated design, procurement and build.

Ideal candidates have UK Tier 1/ regional contracting experience and expertise in Asta Powerproject (P6 or BIM a plus).

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in a Senior Planning role within UK Tier 1 or regional contracting.
• Advanced proficiency in Asta Powerproject; Primavera P6 or BIM (4D Modelling) is a plus.
• Strong working knowledge of NEC and JCT contracts.
• Ability to mentor junior planners and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning during bid and tender stages, developing robust logic and construction sequences.
• Create and maintain Level 3/4 programmes (Asta Powerproject) integrating design, procurement and construction.
• Perform QSRA to identify bottlenecks and propose proactive solutions.
• Provide clear monthly progress reports and dashboard metrics for senior leadership.
