Job summary

Randstad Construction and Property seeks a Senior Planner for a major UK project near Ipswich. You will lead bid/tender planning, develop robust construction sequences, and drive detailed Level 3/4 programs using Asta Powerproject, coordinating with design, procurement and construction teams.

You will perform QSRA to preempt bottlenecks, mentor junior planners, and report progress monthly to senior leadership, ensuring alignment with NEC/JCT contracts and project objectives.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in a Senior Planning role within UK Tier 1 or regional contracting.
• Strong knowledge of NEC and JCT contracts.
• Advanced proficiency in Asta Powerproject; Primavera P6 and BIM (4D) are highly desirable.
• Experience leading planning during bid/tender, and mentoring junior planners.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-construction planning during bids to develop robust construction sequences.
• Create and maintain Level 3/4 programs integrating design, procurement and construction.
• Perform QSRA to identify bottlenecks and propose proactive solutions.
• Act as bridge between site teams, clients and subcontractors to align on truth of project data.
• Provide monthly progress reports and dashboards for senior leadership.
