Job summary

SES Engineering Services in the North West is seeking a Planner to join our team, focusing on high profile, technically complex mechanical and electrical projects across multiple sectors.

You will work with site teams and main contractors to ensure fully integrated programmes, study drawings and contract documents, report on progress, and liaise with project teams to align progress reports with SES best practice and project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Work with the site team and main contractor to ensure the projects have fully integrated programmes sequenced in the correct manner to allow the successful completion of the project
• Thoroughly study specifications, drawings and relevant contract documents/ correspondence in conjunction with engineers and surveyors to ensure adequacy of the planning and programming of projects
• Carry out regular reporting on projects to allow the site team to understand the programme position in relation to progress
• Liaise with the project team to ensure progress reports, progress percentages and drop-down programmes, are produced and issued in accordance with SES Best practice, company procedures and project requirements to allow proper management and commercial protection to be achieved
