Job summary

WSP in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Senior Consultant to support town planning and consenting inputs on major and nationally significant infrastructure projects. You will work across multi-disciplinary teams to secure consents under the Town and Country Planning Act 1990, Planning Act 2008, and Transport and Works Act Orders.

Qualifications

Degree level qualification in town planning (or equivalent).
Member of (or eligible for) the RTPI.
Experience securing consents for major infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

Lead preparation of Town & Country Planning Act applications for infrastructure projects across the UK.
Lead on consenting inputs for major projects (DCOs, DNSs, TWAOs).
Provide technical advice to clients and manage consenting requirements.
Liaise with statutory bodies and stakeholders to deliver projects.
Lead multidisciplinary teams and provide technical oversight.
Support development of knowledge base within the team.
Support work-winning opportunities in line with Growth Strategy.
Understand project finances and contribute to project management.
