Job summary

Matchtech Group is recruiting for a Planner/Senior Planner to join a major redevelopment project at Devonport Royal Dockyard in Plymouth. The role involves developing, maintaining and managing project programmes through the lifecycle, with a mix of office, project and site-based work on a regulated infrastructure site.

Qualifications

• Experience with planning on construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of planning methodologies and project controls.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Commercial awareness and ability to support change in programmes.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining detailed project programmes using Primavera P6.
• Building programmes from first principles, including resource and cost loading.
• Producing programme strategies for live projects and tender opportunities.
• Monitoring project progress and producing regular programme updates and reports.
• Identifying programme risks, opportunities and areas for improvement.
• Supporting project teams with short-term planning and delivery strategies.
• Managing and reviewing subcontractor programmes.
• Facilitating collaborative planning workshops with project stakeholders.
• Assessing the impact of change and supporting commercial teams with programme analysis.
• Producing programme narratives and phasing plans.
