Job summary

PBS by Ponticelli is seeking a Senior Planner to join their E&C team on a contract basis in Westhill, Scotland. You will create and maintain E&C modification schedules on brownfield assets, produce weekly productivity reports, histograms and S-Curves, and flag potential delays or overspend.

You will coordinate with Project Managers, Discipline Leads and asset planners to keep plans current through execution.

Qualifications

• Oil & gas industry experience in a similar planner role.
• HNC/HND in Engineering.
• Experience with E&C modifications on brownfield assets.
• Experience in creating schedules and progress measurement.
• Primavera P6 advanced user.
• Strong reporting and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and update E&C schedules in collaboration with Project Managers and Discipline Leads.
• Liaise with Asset Planner to ensure construction activities are included in the asset plan.
• Provide latest forecast dates to the cost engineer.
• Coordinate with Procurement to capture latest procurement dates.
• Chair weekly planning meetings for responsible assets.
• Prepare Manpower Histograms and Productivity Reports to identify resourcing issues.
• Perform other Planning tasks as requested.

Job description

PBS (Semco UK) are looking for a Senior Planner to join their E&C team on a Contract basis.

The Planner will be responsible for creating and maintaining E&C modification schedules on brownfield assets, weekly reporting including productivity analysis, histograms and S-Curves and can highlight any potential issues which could lead to schedule delays and overspend. They will Interface with all other Departments/Stakeholders to update and verify the plans through to final execution. As a point of contact for the Senior Planner will ensure the status of all RFM`s are communicated on a weekly basis

Details/duties:

• Creating and updating the E&C schedules in collaboration with the Project Managers and Discipline Leads
• Liaising with the relevant Asset planner to ensure construction activities (including vendor resources) have been incorporated into the asset plan correctly
• Ensuring latest forecast dates are provided to the cost engineer
• Liaising with Procurement, to ensure latest procurement dates are captured
• Chair the weekly planning meetings for responsible assets
• Responsible for Manpower Histograms and Productivity Reports identifying any potential resourcing issues
• Any other Planning Tasks as requested

Qualifications/Experience required:

• Proven oil & gas industry experience in a similar position
• HNC/HND Engineering discipline
• Experience with E&C Modifications on brownfield assets.
• Experienced in creating schedules and Progress Measurement
• Primavera P6 advanced user
• Good reporting skills
• Good communication skills both verbal and written
