Job summary

Fairmead are recruiting a Senior Planner for a permanent, site-based highways scheme in Widmerpool. You will build and own the programme from tender through to delivery, producing baseline, monthly updates, look-aheads and progress reports.

Applicants should have extensive highways planning experience on major projects, NEC contract experience, Primavera P6 or Asta proficiency, and hold a full UK driving licence. You will present the programme to clients and site teams.

Qualifications

• Proven Senior Planner experience on highways schemes with a main or civils contractor.
• NEC contract experience essential, including accepted programme submissions.
• Strong Primavera P6 or Asta proficiency.
• Comfortable presenting the programme to clients and site teams.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Building and owning the programme from tender through to delivery — baseline, monthly updates, look-aheads and progress reporting.
• Managing the NEC programme submissions and acceptance process with the client, and supporting the commercial team on CE programme impact.

Fairmead are currently recruiting a Senior Planner on a permanent basis on behalf of our client, a leading civil engineering and infrastructure contractor, for a long-term highways scheme in Widmerpool.

Overview of role

• Location: Widmerpool, Nottinghamshire
• Salary: £60,000 to £80,000 plus package
• Permanent, site-based on a major highways project
• Building and owning the programme from tender through to delivery — baseline, monthly updates, look-aheads and progress reporting
• Managing the NEC programme submissions and acceptance process with the client, and supporting the commercial team on CE programme impact
