MWH Treatment is seeking a Senior Planner for the Anglian Water Region. You will lead and develop a planning team, keeping project plans on track and mitigating issues to deliver updates backed by data.
Responsibilities include developing detailed plans, communicating critical paths, and driving planning standards across the team while aligning with cost forecasts.
MWH Treatment is looking to strengthen our Planning team with Senior Planner for our Anglian Water Region. Whilst leading and developing a team towards planning excellence, you’ll ensure the project plan and programme are kept on track with any mitigating circumstances successfully overcome. By using your knowledge and expertise in planning, you’ll build the trust and confidence of key stakeholder by delivering project updates backed up by value- added data which can contribute to delivery improvements as we progress
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and Monitor Plans:
Lead collaborative digital planning and production meetings to ensure clarity of requirements and expectations.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans in accordance with @one and AW requirements.
Liaise with delivery teams to ensure consistency in methodology and outputs.
Proactively identify opportunities and risks and explore mitigation strategies.
Develop 4D animations of project plans to aid in digital rehearsal of construction.
Gather progress information and communicate effects on key dates, challenging the team to deliver on time.
Communication of Plans:
Attend site regularly to gather program update information.
Communicate critical paths and key activities in team meetings.
Advise the team on priorities to prevent activities from becoming critical.
Attend meetings as required and provide project-specific reports as needed.
Quality of Plans:
Maintain planning standards across @one and adhere to published processes.
Ensure integrity of project plans and actively participate in driving best practices.
Ensure alignment between plans and cost forecasts.
Minimum five years of experience in large-scale projects within the Civil Engineering sector, preferably in the Water Industry.Essential experience with P6 (Primavera).Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Attention to detail and ability to manage complex project plans effectively.Commitment to health and safety principles.
