Job summary

Evri is seeking a Senior Planner to lead the Delivery Planning Team. You’ll shape the strategy, forecast parcel volumes, and ensure courier coverage across peak periods.

You’ll work with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to design scalable planning solutions that keep the network efficient, resilient and responsive to demand.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing and coaching teams (including remote leadership).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Experience in workforce planning, resource management, or similar environments.
• Confidence working with stakeholders and influencing at a senior level.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Full UK Driving Licence (planning qualification desirable but not essential).

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of planners to deliver a robust divisional planning strategy.
• Build and maintain comprehensive coverage plans for weekends, holidays, and peak periods.
• Analyse data and trends to forecast parcel volumes and resource requirements.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, recruitment, and central planning teams.
• Optimise courier coverage and routes to improve efficiency and service quality.
• Design contingency plans to manage unexpected volume fluctuations.
