Job summary

Aureos Infrastructure Services Limited is seeking a highly experienced Senior Planner to lead the development and maintenance of project schedules for diverse infrastructure programs. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and robust planning controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in project planning and scheduling within the infrastructure sector.
• Proven expertise in using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-project environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Relevant professional certifications (e.g., PMP, PSP) are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules using industry-standard planning software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define project scope, activities, durations, and resource requirements.
• Conduct critical path analysis and identify potential schedule risks and opportunities.
• Implement and manage project controls, including progress tracking, earned value analysis, and variance reporting.
• Prepare detailed planning reports, forecasts, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Proactively identify and resolve scheduling conflicts and propose mitigation strategies.
• Support the development of tender programs and provide planning input during the bidding phase.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior planning staff.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, company policies, and relevant industry standards.
• Participate in project reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
