Job summary

Southern Water in Falmer, Brighton, is seeking a Major Projects PMO Senior Planner to shape the delivery of large infrastructure programmes. You will develop and maintain fully logic-linked schedules in Primavera P6, provide accurate data, early warnings, and scenario modelling to keep projects on track.

The role requires expert Primavera P6 usage, ability to load costs and resources, and familiarity with NEC contracts.

Qualifications

• Must be expert in Primavera P6 with cost and resource loading.
• Strong knowledge of NEC contracts and planning clauses.
• Experience in governance and schedule baselines.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and manage fully logic-linked project schedules in Primavera P6 for major infrastructure projects.
• Communicate critical path updates, float trends, and early warnings on schedule slippage.
• Produce progress updates, lookahead schedules, S-Curves, and SPI metrics at project/work-pack level.
• Conduct scenario planning and what-if analysis to support risk mitigation.
• Review and integrate schedules from external partners, ensuring governance-compliant quality.
• Maintain control of schedule baselines and revisions per PMO governance.
