University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for an Advanced Practice Reporting Radiographer (Planar) at Southampton General Hospital. The post is a permanent position with flexible hours (full time or part time) and a focus on autonomous planar reporting across multiple patient groups.

Role involves reporting, clinical leadership, education, and development within a dynamic imaging service, with opportunities for a preceptorship and further reporting development.

Qualifications

• Autonomy in reporting and professional decision making.
• Experience reporting in planar imaging across relevant anatomical areas.
• Willingness to train and precept staff and students.

Responsabilités

• Interpret, report and diagnose pathologies in planar imaging.
• Participate in acute reporting service within the Trust.
• Conduct peer review and audit of imaging work.
• Deliver a high-quality imaging service aligned with patient needs.
• Promote planar and fluoroscopy excellence within the team.
• Provide expert advice on specialism to colleagues.
• Deliver appraisals, education and training to staff.
