Job summary

Marsh in London seeks a talented individual to join our FINPRO team. The role sits in a hybrid London office, with at least three days per week in the office, supporting the Management Liability wholesale team and handling D&O and Crime placements for the global Marsh network.

You will lead placements from start to finish, provide market updates to overseas colleagues, and ensure renewals and new business deadlines are met while maintaining strong relationships with the London market and global

Qualifications

• Technical knowledge of D&O and other Financial Lines and understanding of Lloyd's and the London market.
• Experience in broking, underwriting or claims, preferably Financial Lines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication when dealing with a global network.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to handle multiple complex placements with common renewal dates.

Responsibilities

• Act as the lead placing broker handling large and complex D&O and Crime placements from start to finish.
• Provide exceptional service to overseas colleagues by finding London market solutions and updating on market conditions.
• Ensure renewal and new business deadlines are met and oversee the creation and accuracy of MRCs/slips.
• Develop strong relationships with Marsh's global network and London market underwriters.
• Collaborate with the wider team to create innovative insurance solutions and roll them out to the global network.

We are seeking a talented individual to join our FINPRO team at Marsh.

This role will be based in London. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days per week in the office.

The successful candidate will be working in our Management Liability wholesale team handling the placement of D&O and Crime risks sent to us from the global Marsh network. The focus will be supporting our colleagues in Australia and Europe to find London solutions for their clients, which are typically major US and ASX listed public companies.

We will count on you to:

• Act as the lead placing broker handling large and complex D&O and Crime placements from start to finish.


• Provide exceptional customer service to our overseas colleagues by finding London market solutions as requested, and providing account-specific and general market updates on a regular basis.


• Ensure all renewal and new business deadlines are met, and supervise the creation and ensure accuracy of MRCs/slips.


• Develop strong working relationships with both the global network of Marsh retail brokers and London market underwriters.


• Work with the wider team to create innovative new insurance solutions and roll them out to our global network.

What you need to have:

• Technical knowledge of D&O and other Financial Lines and a solid understanding of Lloyd's and the London market.


• Experience in broking, underwriting, or claims, preferably with a focus on Financial Lines.


• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) which is particularly important when dealing with our global network.


• Solid organisational skills and ability to effectively handle multiple complex placements with common renewal dates.
