Franco Manca in Bath is seeking a Senior Pizza Chef to lead the kitchen team, crafting sourdough pizzas with care and guiding colleagues to deliver outstanding service. You will work hands-on with dough, toppings, and our wood-fired ovens to uphold high standards of quality and consistency.

You’ll mentor junior staff, manage stock and prep, and stay calm under pressure to ensure smooth service during busy shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Pizza chef or in a professional kitchen environment.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to mentor junior staff.
• Confidence with fresh dough and wood-fired ovens.
• Capable of thriving in a fast-paced kitchen and staying calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead the kitchen team and ensure high-quality pizzas are made with care.
• Prepare and cook sourdough pizzas to perfection in a wood-fired oven.
• Support the Head Chef in maintaining hygiene, quality, and consistency.
• Mentor and train junior team members with your knowledge and expertise.
• Assist with dough preparation, topping pizzas, and efficient service.
• Maintain composure during busy shifts and ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Take responsibility for stock management and food prep for service.
