Job summary

Franco Manca is hiring a Senior Pizza Chef to lead the kitchen, craft our signature sourdough pizzas and support the team to deliver outstanding service. You will mentor junior staff, manage dough preparation, and ensure high standards of quality and hygiene.

You’ll work in a fast-paced environment, bring passion for great Italian pizza, and help uphold our commitment to excellent guest experiences across our pizzerias.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Pizza chef or in a professional kitchen environment.
• Be confident in handling fresh dough and working with a wood-fired oven.
• Have strong leadership skills to inspire and support your team.

Responsibilities

• Lead kitchen operations and craft pizzas with care, supporting the team to deliver excellent service.
• Prepare and cook sourdough pizzas to perfection.
• Assist Head Chef in managing the kitchen, ensuring hygiene and high food quality.
• Mentor junior team members and share expertise.
• Oversee dough prep, toppings, and wood oven cooking.
• Stay calm during busy shifts and ensure smooth kitchen flow.
• Manage stock and prep to be ready for service.
