Holtec International is seeking a Senior Piping Engineer to coordinate the development and delivery of complete piping systems for SMR projects in Almondsbury, UK. You will integrate piping activities from P&IDs through design development, stress analysis, piping supports, and vendor documentation, coordinating with materials, welding, procurement and construction.

The role requires 10+ years of piping experience, a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical or Nuclear Engineering, and strong

Qualifications

• 10+ years piping experience on power, naval nuclear, oil & gas, or industrial projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Nuclear Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of ASME B&PV, B31.1 and B31.3 codes and related specs.
• Experience coordinating complete piping systems from design to installation.
• Experience performing vendor evaluations and technical bid analysis.
• Eligible to work under DOE 10 CFR Part 810.
• PE license preferred.

Responsabilités

• Translate P&IDs and system requirements into complete piping designs.
• Develop piping material class code specifications and select materials.
• Coordinate layouts, routing, and design requirements considering operability and constructability.
• Review isometrics and bills of materials.
• Coordinate with pipe stress, supports, valves, and procurement.
• Support construction from planning to turnover and resolve field changes.
• Lead interdisciplinary piping design reviews and resolve interfaces.
