Holtec International, via its SMR LLC, seeks a Piping Engineer in Almondsbury (Bristol area) to design and analyze nuclear piping systems using AutoPIPE per ASME III requirements. Relocation assistance available and a hybrid work option.

The role emphasizes collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, delivering stress analyses, isometrics, and line lists while ensuring regulatory compliance. A mechanical engineering degree and 5 years of piping experience in regulated environments are preferred.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering; advanced degree preferred
• 5 years piping analysis in nuclear or regulated industries
• ASME III Class 1-3 piping analysis experience
• ASME B31.1 or similar codes
• AutoPIPE proficiency
• SmartPlant / Smart3D experience
• Strong communication skills
• Cross-functional teamwork
• Eligibility for 10 CFR Part 810
• NRC regulatory familiarity
• Pipe supports integration
• GT STRUDL / PV Elite / ANSYS experience

Responsabilidades

• Perform nuclear piping stress analyses with AutoPIPE per ASME III NC/ND
• Analyze pipe supports and coordinate with design teams
• Prepare and maintain stress reports, isometrics, line lists
• Support Smart3D models; resolve layout, flexibility, stress issues
• Collaborate across disciplines to resolve design challenges
• Provide fabrication and field support
• Review vendor documents for design/code compliance
• Ensure quality and regulatory compliance
