Job summary

ATA Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Senior Piping Engineer in Derbyshire to take ownership of piping design across bespoke energy projects. You will produce compliant piping layouts, perform pipe stress analysis, review P&IDs and support projects from concept through manufacture and installation.

You will work with Mechanical, Structural and Project teams, apply ASME B31.1/3, EN 13480 and PED standards, and utilise Plant 3D/AVEVA E3D. The role offers a competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in piping design, process plant or pipe stress analysis.
• Around 6 years' experience for Senior Engineer level.

Responsibilities

• Produce piping layouts and 3D models for process plants, gas turbine packages, skids and modular systems.
• Conduct pipe stress and flexibility analyses, including supports and nozzle loads.
• Review P&IDs and engineering drawings; ensure compliance with standards.
