Job summary

Morson Group in Aberdeen is seeking a Senior Piping Engineer for a contract role outside IR35. The position offers 40-hour weeks, hybrid work with 3 days in the office, and a rate of £53-£58 per hour.

You will lead piping discipline activities, review calculations, supervise designers, and ensure compliance with codes and standards within an oil and gas project environment. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (desirable).
• Extensive experience in onshore/offshore piping engineering in the oil and gas industry.
• Knowledge of the relevant piping & plant layout codes and standards.
• Knowledge of project controls within discipline.
• Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary project environment.

• Ensure work is carried out in accordance with relevant design codes, standards and procedures.
• Provide input to cost estimates and execution plans.
• Plan and maintain the discipline progress of the project.
• Liaise with other disciplines, departments, project personnel, vendors, clients, etc.
• Participate in key project reviews HAZOP, model reviews, constructability review meetings.
• Assist Principal Piping Engineers in other discipline related activities.
