Job summary

Sustainable Talent is seeking a Senior Pipeline Project Manager for a 24-month contract in the Renewables and Energy sector. Hybrid role with four days in Chester, starting October 2026.

The ideal candidate will show robust senior PM experience, client-facing delivery, and strong NEC contract knowledge to drive a major carbon capture pipeline programme. Ability to lead from the front, with a solid commercial acumen and heavy civils background, especially in gas projects, is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Senior project management with extensive client-facing experience.
• Accredited with project management certificates.
• Excellent NEC contract knowledge and commercial acumen.
• Experience delivering pipeline works for large carbon capture projects.
• National gas background and heavy civils experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Ensure NEC contracts are applied and commercial risk managed.

Senior Pipeline Project Manager required for a contract opportunity within our Renewables and Energy sector

LOCATION: Hybrid (4 days in Chester)

DURATION: 24 months

START DATE: October 2026

The right candidate will need to have the following:

• Strong Senior Project Management experience, with the ability to demonstrate extensive client facing roles previously
• Accredited with relevant Project Management certificates and qualifications
• Excellent NEC contract knowledge, with a solid commercial acumen
• Ability to facilitate and lead from the front to deliver programmes of works for the pipeline element of large Carbon Capture project
• National Gas/Cadent Gas background would be of benefit, along with strong pipeline and heavy civils experience
