Job summary

Glacier Energy is seeking experienced Senior Pipeline Inspectors to support a major UK gas network project. This role requires extensive live pipeline experience and a track record in welding surveillance, inspection, and QA/QC.

You will operate on a framework covering UK-wide sites, likely as a LTD contractor outside IR35, with a competitive day rate bench-marked to role and experience.

Qualifications

• Welding surveillance and compliance monitoring.

• NDT awareness and reporting.
• Working knowledge of IGE/TD standards, SGN specifications and client procedures.

Position

Glacier Energy is sourcing experienced Senior Pipeline Inspectors to support an upcoming major UK gas network pipeline project. This is a strong opportunity for a senior-level inspector with extensive live pipeline experience to join a framework arrangement covering UK-wide sites.

Key Requirements

• Welding surveillance and compliance monitoring
• Experience across pipeline construction, repair and maintenance projects
• NDT awareness and reporting
• Working knowledge of IGE/TD standards, SGN specifications and client procedures

Typical Experience

• 15+ years pipeline inspection experience
• Onshore steel transmission pipelines
• AGIs, pig traps, valve installations
• HDD crossings and tie-ins
• Contractor surveillance and QA/QC management

Requirements

• Ability to pass drug & alcohol (D&A) testing
• Confined Space Medium Risk certification
• Willingness to complete client site inductions as required
