William James Recruitment is seeking a Professional Indemnity Senior Associate in Birmingham. The role focuses on high-value PI and construction claims for insurer clients, handling multi-party disputes and advising on strategy.

You'll supervise junior colleagues, contribute to business development, and work with Partners to deliver commercial outcomes and exceptional client service. Salary up to £95,000, with strong progression prospects.

Qualificações

• Qualified Solicitor with experience appropriate Senior Associate level.
• Experience handling professional indemnity or construction-related litigation.
• Strong technical knowledge of construction disputes and professional negligence matters.
• Experience supervising, mentoring or developing junior colleagues.
• Excellent drafting and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead on complex, high-value and multi-party construction PI claims.
• Manage claims on behalf of insurer clients across a range of construction professionals.
• Advise on liability, quantum, evidence and litigation strategy throughout the claims process.
• Handle matters from pre-action through to resolution, including ADR, litigation and arbitration.
• Draft pleadings, detailed reports and other legal documentation, and instruct Counsel and experts where required.
• Supervise, mentor and train junior team members handling lower-value claims.
• Support business development and strengthen client relationships.
• Collaborate with Partners to deliver commercially focused outcomes and client service.
