Band 6 Senior Physiotherapist Rotational
Part-time, 15 hours per week, weekdays
An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated Physiotherapist to join our Band 6 Inpatient Rotational scheme, rotating on a 7 monthly rotation through a variety of physiotherapy areas: Medicine, Oncology, Neurosciences, Rehabilitation, Surgery, Critical Care, Orthopaedics, Out Patients, Paediatrics and Elderly Care.
This rotation will allow you to develop as a band 6 and gain experience in a wide range of areas within a specialist acute hospital setting.

Interviews : In the week of 5/10-/26
To perform advanced physiotherapeutic assessment of patients with diverse medical, neurological and musculoskeletal presentations and complex physical and psychological conditions, to provide a diagnosis and develop and deliver an individualised treatment programme.
To hold responsibility for own caseload and be responsible for a defined area of the service or a particular patient type, working unsupervised. Access to advice and support from senior physiotherapists is available if required.
To undertake all aspects of clinical duties as an autonomous practitioner.
To supervise, educate and assess the performance of physiotherapy students, this would be to a graduate standard and involve working with universities to ensure the standard of practice and teaching meets the standards set by the degree level qualification.
To undertake evidence-based practice, audit and research projects to further own and team's clinical practice within each rotation. Make recommendations to clinical lead for changes to practice by the team. May lead implementation of specific changes to practice or contribute to service protocols.
To assist in the training of junior members of staff to a level of agreed competency.
