Circle Health Group’s The Duchy Hospital in Harrogate is seeking a Senior Physiotherapist – Inpatients for a 22.5-hour per week, permanent part-time role. The position offers a salary up to £41,000 FTE per year, dependent on experience, training and qualification.

You will assess and treat complex inpatient cases, develop personalised plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective discharge planning and continuity of care.

Qualifications

• HCPC-registered Physiotherapist.
• Solid post-registration experience across clinical areas.
• Strong clinical reasoning and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal abilities.
• Commitment to team working and service improvement.
• Evidence of CPD or postgraduate learning in a relevant clinical area.
• Experience supporting or mentoring junior staff or students.
• Familiarity with electronic documentation and outcome measurement tools.
• Involvement in audit or clinical service initiatives.

Responsibilities

We have an opportunity for a Senior Physiotherapist – Inpatients to join their team of staff in the Physiotherapy department.

This is a part-time role for 22.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.

Duties of this role include:

• Independently assess and treat patients with more complex needs across inpatient or outpatient settings.
• Develop individualised treatment plans using a variety of physiotherapy techniques to optimise recovery, function, and independence.
• Monitor patient progress and adapt interventions accordingly, ensuring high standards of clinical care.
• Manage a designated caseload efficiently, prioritising based on clinical urgency and discharge planning needs.
• Liaise with the multidisciplinary team to support safe, effective, and timely patient care.
• Contribute to continuity of care by supporting patient transitions between services.
