Job summary

Spectrum IT Recruitment is seeking a skilled PHP Developer for a growing technology business in the housing development sector. You will work on PHP-based web applications, optimise SQL queries, and maintain existing platforms while contributing to new features.

Exposure to mobile app development via Xcode and Android Studio is included. This is a full-time, office-based role, with ownership of development tasks and collaboration with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial PHP development experience.
• Strong knowledge of PHP and SQL.
• Experience with relational databases.
• Knowledge of Xcode and Android Studio.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of development tasks.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain PHP-based web applications.
• Develop and optimise SQL queries and database functionality.
• Maintain and enhance existing software platforms.
• Develop new features and functionality based on business requirements.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software issues.
• Work with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective technical solutions.
• Support the development and maintenance of mobile applications using Xcode and Android Studio.
