Senior PHP Developer - Billing & CRM (Hybrid)

Job summary

Focus Group, established in 2003, is one of the UK’s fastest growing independent providers of essential business technology. We are seeking a PHP Developer to build new functionality and support existing systems across our internal CMS and CRM applications in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team.

The role involves working on development deliverables, unit testing, and operating across the SDLC. This is a hybrid role based in Shoreham-by-Sea with one day a week in the office.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to write unit tests and ensure code quality.
• Strong knowledge of Javascript, JQuery and Vue.js.
• Experience with MariaDB/MySQL SQL.
• Proficient in HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap and Laravel.
• Experience with API development and Postman.
• Git version control experience.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Understanding of the SDLC and delivering customer-focused solutions.
• Team player with problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

• Develop changes and fixes on Focus Bespoke CMS and CRM applications.
• Write unit tests and coordinate with QA to ensure quality and acceptance.
• Assist on the Support desk on a rota basis for development issues.
• Contribute to projects as required by the business.
• Participate in stand-ups, team meetings and planning sessions.
