Job summary

NHS Grampian is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join the Medicines Information team at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. You will support safe and effective patient care by providing high-quality medicines information to healthcare professionals across NHS Grampian and related boards.

You will be a registered pharmacy technician with excellent communication and organisational skills, and you will have opportunities to undertake MIATP training and to perform clinical duties on a ward.

Qualifications

• You will be a registered pharmacy technician.
• You will provide teaching and training to local pharmacy team members.

Responsibilities

• Provide medicines information to support safe patient care across NHS Grampian, NHS Shetland and NHS Orkney.
• Answer medicines-related enquiries and contribute to guidelines and policies.
• Carry out clinical duties on a ward within Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
• Support development of medicines information training and policies.
