Job summary

NHS Tayside in Scotland is seeking a Senior Pharmacy Technician to join the Angus Integrated Drug and Alcohol Recovery Service (AIDARS). You will work within the Substance Use Pharmacy team, providing person-centred care, assessing needs, and supporting service development in collaboration with a Specialist Clinical Pharmacist.

Registration with the GPhC and either an accuracy checking qualification or commitment to obtain one are required; weekend/public holiday rotas may apply; informal

Qualifications

• Registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
• Experience or willingness to work towards an accuracy checking qualification.
• Interest in working with people who use substances and delivering holistic, person-centred care.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate person-centred care for individuals in AIDARS.
• Work autonomously alongside a Specialist Clinical Pharmacist with team support.
• Contribute to weekend/public holiday rotas as required.
