University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust in Burton-on-Trent is recruiting a Band 3 Senior Pharmacy Assistant to join the Pharmacy team at Queens Hospital Burton. You will label and dispense prescriptions and assist with discharge medications, delivering a high quality service to staff, patients and the public.
The role requires attention to detail and effective communication, with the ability to work calmly under pressure in a busy hospital pharmacy.
Qualifikationen
- GCSE grade 4 or equivalent in Maths and English.
- GPhC approved Level 2 qualification in Pharmacy Services or willingness to work towards.
- Experience in a customer facing role, ideally in NHS.
- Ability to use automated/electronic systems.
- Knowledge of pharmacy services.
- Willingness to undertake relevant training.
Aufgaben
- Label and dispense inpatient and outpatient prescriptions and discharge medications.
- Meet and greet customers, staff and patients at the reception hatch and manage outpatient prescriptions.
- Complete ward top ups and expiry dating.
- Complete a GPhC-approved Level 2 Pharmacy course.
