Job summary

Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust in Enfield is recruiting a Band 3 Senior Pharmacy Support Worker to support procurement and stores operations within Pharmacy Stores & Distribution. The role is permanent, full time, 37.5 hours per week, with late, weekend and bank holiday shifts as per rota.

You will assist in stock assembly, delivery checking, stock management and returns, working under the Technician Team manager to ensure accurate storage, stock control and timely distribution to

Qualifications

• Holds an NVQ Pharmacy Service Level 2.
• Experience Portfolio demonstrating competence of previous and current pharmacy practice skills, knowledge and CPD.

Responsibilities

• To assist in the assembly of stock to wards and departments.
• To mark and assemble I.V. fluids for delivery to wards and departments.
• To accurately compute stock orders for wards and departments.
• To assist in ensuring work is prioritised effectively within the department.
• To assist with the top-up service as directed by the Technician Team manager (after appropriate training).
• To assist with the EDC and OMNICEL top-up.
• To complete other tasks within distribution as directed by the Lead Technician
• To manage the process of medication returns within the department in a timely manner
