Job summary

NHS Forth Valley is seeking motivated pharmacy support workers to join the cancer pharmacy team. You will work in dispensing, aseptic areas, and gain exposure to stores, outpatient, and ward areas. Flexibility, organisation, teamwork and excellent communication are essential.

NVQ2 in pharmacy services (or working towards) is required, with weekend/public holiday rotas in place. You will rotate through the dispensary and aseptic unit, supporting pharmacists and technicians in dispensing, stock

Qualifications

• NVQ2 qualification in pharmacy services or be working towards one.
• Previous pharmacy experience is essential.
• Used to working in a busy challenging environment.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through the dispensary and aseptic (sterile) unit.
• Dispense chemotherapy and medicines for side effect management.
• Stock control and co-ordinating medicines delivery.
• Environmental monitoring and transfer/assembly for aseptic manufacture.
• Perform administrative tasks related to duties.
