Job summary

NHS Forth Valley is seeking a pharmacist to join the cancer pharmacy team to develop clinical pharmacy and prescribing skills within inpatient haematology and oncology outpatient services. The role focuses on oncology/haematology with the chance to contribute to service development locally and across the West of Scotland Cancer Network, with specialist training offered.

A pharmacist prescribing qualification is desirable but not essential, and good teamwork is essential to support high quality

Qualifications

• Experience delivering clinical pharmacy services in a hospital setting.
• Ability to contribute to service development and improvements.
• Desirable: pharmacist prescribing qualification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and develop the clinical pharmacy service to inpatient haematology and oncology outpatients.
• Support non-medical prescribing clinics and participate in service development.
• Assist in rota planning and on-call duties as required.
