Job summary

The Cromwell Hospital, part of Bupa, is seeking a Senior Pharmacy Assistant to oversee stores and distribution across hospital locations. You will support procurement, stock control and timely deliveries while working with pharmacy colleagues and clinical teams in a busy private hospital setting.

Full-time permanent role with 37.50 hours weekly, Monday to Friday 8:30am-5pm and Saturdays 8:30am-2pm, based at Cromwell Road, London. Strong organisational and communication skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Support pharmacy procurement activities and process purchase orders accurately.
• Manage stock levels and inventory across pharmacy stores and satellite locations.
• Coordinate deliveries, goods receipt and the distribution of medicines and consumables.
• Monitor back orders, medicine shortages and supply disruptions.
• Investigate stock discrepancies and assist with corrective actions.
• Support service improvement initiatives and operational efficiency projects.
• Provide guidance and support to Pharmacy Assistants and new team members.
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations, SOPs and hospital standards.
