Job summary

The Cromwell Hospital, part of Bupa, is seeking a proactive Pharmacy Technician (GPhC registered) to support procurement and distribution across the hospital. You will manage stock, raise POs, check deliveries and maintain compliance with Goods Distribution Practice.

This role requires experience in UK pharmacy operations, Pyxis systems, and robust accuracy in stock management with excellent teamwork in a busy hospital setting.

Qualifications

• NVQ3 Pharmacy Technician qualification essential.
• GPhC registration essential.
• Experience in pharmacy purchasing essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist with responsive delivery of pharmacy stocks to wards and departments.
• Raise and transmit pharmacy purchase orders to suppliers (Ascribe/Powergate).
• Check deliveries and distribute to destinations.
• Ensure stock storage and rotation per CH SOPs.
• Carry out reconciliation of delivery notes, invoices and credits.
• Maintain price information in Ascribe.
• Prepare weekly/monthly procurement reports.
• Communicate stock unavailability to departments.
