Job summary

Hywel Dda University Health Board is seeking a Senior Pharmacy Assistant Technical Officer at Withybush Hospital in Haverfordwest. The role covers stock supply, inpatient/outpatient dispensing, and support for discharge prescriptions within a hospital pharmacy team.

Applicants should have GCSEs, NVQ 3 in Pharmacy, and be prepared for weekend/Bank Holiday rotations. Welsh language ability is desirable; Welsh speakers welcome.

Qualifications

Must hold 4 GCSEs (or equivalent) Grade C or above.
NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience in Pharmacy services.
Buttercups / NVQ 2 Qualification in Pharmacy.

Responsibilities

Supply stock to wards and departments.
Dispense medicines for in-patients and outpatients.
Support dispensing for discharge prescriptions.
Support the pharmacy medicines management team at ward level.
