Job summary

Glan Clwyd Hospital in Wales is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to join the Pharmacy Stores and Distribution team. The role covers receipt, storage, distribution and disposal of medicines, with emphasis on stock accuracy and efficient IT-aided requests.

Full training will be provided; travel between sites is required. Welsh language ability is desirable, and both Welsh and English speakers are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• GCSE in Maths and English or equivalent.
• NVQ Level 2 in pharmacy services or willing to achieve within 12 months.
• Experience working in a team is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Receipt, storage, distribution and disposal of medicines.
• Support stock level accuracy and use pharmacy IT systems to process requests.
• Travel between sites as required and provide reliable service.
