Job summary

The Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Senior Clinical Pharmacist to support HIV, Sexual & Reproductive Health and Infectious Diseases services. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, effective and cost-efficient use of medicines, and to drive policy and governance improvements.

You will also contribute to education and training within the pharmacy department and across the HIV/SRH/ID teams, ensuring high standards of pharmaceutical care.

Qualifications

• MRPharmS or equivalent required.
• Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
• Mandatory CPD to maintain fitness to practice.
• Post graduate diploma in pharmacy practice or equivalent, or currently working towards it.
• Advanced qualification in specialist area or equivalent; Good Clinical Practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide a highly specialist clinical and professional pharmaceutical service to HIV, SRH and Infectious diseases teams.
• Lead on policy development, governance initiatives and cost-efficient use of medicines.
• Advise on drug expenditure and undertake clinical audits to improve service quality.
