Job summary

Lancashire Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Advanced Pharmacist to coordinate the Prescribing and Therapeutics Teaching Program, liaise with hospital placement teams, and integrate ward-based and classroom teaching for the medical student curriculum.

You will assess medical students, provide feedback, and deliver educational sessions using lectures, workshops, and online modules to ensure high-quality pharmaceutical education across the Trust.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the Prescribing and Therapeutics Teaching Program and liaise with placement and coordination teams to plan ward-based and classroom teaching for medical students.
• Assess medical students as an assessor for examinations such as CCAs and PSA, and provide informal feedback to support development.
• Deliver educational sessions using lectures, small group discussions, online modules, and one-on-one instruction to ensure comprehensive pharmaceutical education.
