Job summary

Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for an Advanced Clinical Pharmacist & Clinical Educator hosted by the Medicines Management Team. The post will work at the University of Liverpool’s School of Pharmacy two days a week, contributing to in-patient mental health services and leading mental health teaching within the MPharm programme.

Qualifications

Excellent communication and organisational skills required.
Experience across all four pillars of pharmacy practice.
Currently pursuing/holding advanced mental health credentialling.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, deliver and assess mental health teaching within the MPharm programme, including teaching clinical pharmacy skills.
Lead mental health-focused experiential learning across the MPharm programme, including simulation and health placements, with EPA integration.
Provide advanced clinical pharmacy service to in-patient mental health wards.
Be an active non-medical prescriber and an effective role model.
Provide leadership within the Education & Training Team and contribute to Medicines Optimisation Strategy.
Contribute to ward work at base and other Trust sites according to operational need.
