Job summary

King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Associate Chief Pharmacist for Aseptic Services to provide strategic leadership across its aseptic operations, including chemotherapy, PN and CIVAS. The role drives compliance, quality and service development across multiple hospital sites.

The post holder will manage budgets, capital projects and workforce development, ensuring safe, regulated and high-quality aseptic services that support frontline patient care.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Pharmacy (MPharm) and GPhC registration.
• Extensive post‑registration experience in Pharmacy Aseptic Services.
• Knowledge of GMP, GCP, QA and relevant regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic, operational and professional leadership for Pharmacy Aseptic Services across King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
• Lead aseptic services including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, PN, CIVAS and aseptically manufactured products.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, GCP, QA, health and safety requirements and regulatory expectations.
• Oversee budgets, business cases, capital investment programmes and service transformation projects.
• Lead research, audits and innovation within aseptic services.
