Job summary

Martin Veasey Talent Solutions seeks a Category Management and Commercial Buying Leader for a Hertfordshire-based pharmaceutical wholesaler. The role drives margin, rebates and stock availability to support twice-daily deliveries to independent pharmacies, wholesalers and hospitals.

You will lead a growing team, embed a disciplined buy-to-sell model, and own the procurement function with credibility and autonomy, reporting to a senior commercial lead.

Qualifications

• Led a commercial, sales, category management or buying team.
• Experience in margin, rebate and inventory discipline within pharma wholesale or FMCG.

Responsibilities

• Finish embedding the stock-to-sell transformation across the team with clear lead times and minimum order quantities.
• Own the procurement function day-to-day with credibility and autonomy, reporting to the commercial/procurement lead.
• Drive a disciplined buy-to-sell model focused on availability for twice-daily deliveries to a range of outlets.
