Job summary

Procurement Manager role in Hertfordshire, on site five days a week, leading category management and commercial buying in a wholesale pharmaceutical distribution environment.

You will drive a live transformation, embed stock-to-sell discipline, and coordinate lead times and minimum order quantities across the UK, Europe and the Far East to support twice-daily deliveries to independent pharmacies, wholesalers and hospitals.

Qualifications

• Led a category management or buying team with focus on margin, rebates and inventory discipline.
• Experience in wholesale distribution or healthcare/pharma supply chains.
• Strong commercial judgement with ability to teach peers.

Responsibilities

• Lead category management and commercial buying across UK, Europe and the Far East.
• Embed a stock-to-sell discipline and ensure availability for twice-daily deliveries.
• Drive lead time planning and minimum order quantities for stock arriving from multiple regions.
• Own the procurement transformation, reporting to the commercial/procurement lead with authority.
