Job summary

Altrad Services is seeking a Control System Senior Design Engineer to lead PES-based control system design activities for the Sellafield project. You will manage a team of PES-based engineers, deliver designs and support through procurement, installation and commissioning, ensuring compliance with standards and project requirements.

The role requires SC clearance, strong leadership and experience delivering complex control systems from concept to handover on regulated sites, with regular site

Qualifications

• Essential: HNC in engineering, IEng registration, SC clearance.
• Minimum 5 years delivering PES-based control system lead design roles on external projects.
• Experience with SCADA/PLC systems and relevant engineering standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead PES-based control system design engineers to deliver designs.
• Produce and check control system designs and modifications.
• Review requirements and contribute to project schedules/estimates.
• Support procurement, installation and commissioning activities from a design perspective.
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate design activities across teams.
